Cody Canada Returns to Rockin’ the River

Headlining the second to last Rockin’ the River is Cody Canada & The Departed.

Cody and his band are a surefire recipe for a good time. The Americana and rock groups are fan favorites and last performed at RTR in 2018. The star-studded Saturday will also include Austin Meade as he continues to make waves throughout the state and beyond with his powerful performance style. With Prince ties, guitarist Jellybean Johnson has lent his playing to many songs and recordings and plays nationally in the Blues circuit. Shea Abshier & The Nighthowlers will close out the night with their no fluff, raw and real lyrics and genre-blurring sound on the CINCH stage.

The party starts at 1:00 pm with artists playing back-to-back sets beginning at 2:15 pm on the Coors Light Waterfront Stage. After the headlining band finishes at 8:15 pm, the water party moves to the shore with the fifth and final band playing until 9:25 pm on the CINCH after-party stage before a weekly fireworks display lights up the North Texas sky.
